Slobberbone quickly became one of my very favorite bands in 2003. I came to the party late and hadn't even heard the band until their Slippage release. I was sold with that one and picked up everything I could get.
It bummed me out when they said that they were going to break up in 2005. I drove to Lincoln Nebraska to see one of the farewell shows even. I might post that at some point but until then here is a soundboard recording from the second time I got to see them at the World's Famous Lion's Lair. This was back when the stage used to be behind the bar. Man I loved that layout. There was nothing like watching a band front row with bar service. I see that they are back together now and have been playing some shows this year. I would love to see them come back to Denver someday. Fingers crossed.
