This is not my recording. I got this in a CDRs for cassettes trade from someone calling themselves Turtle Music in the early aughts. I've been on a cassette digitizing kick lately and I saw this Pleasure Barons soundboard from 1989 in the box and I pulled it out and put it in the to be transferred pile.
Months later I went to play it and the tape broke off the spindle. I opened it up and discovered that the tape leader had just broken off of the spindle thank goodness. So I carefully reconnected the tape back to the spindle and it played perfectly. Sound is really nice too.
It's just labeled as a SBD but it feels a little more produced than just a board feed. I can't find any information about this show online. In the middle there is a skit with Country Dick performing a wedding ceremony between Mojo and an unknown lucky lady. It sounds like it's from TV based on the bummer at the end and then there is part of an interview with Mojo. Then it is back to the show.
I was working on this when I heard the news that Mojo had passed. I was just going to split it up for myself since someone had already posted it to the LMA. That one wasn't tracked out properly so i figured what the hell I might as well post it too. RIP Mojo.
