I didn't record this show but my friend Chapper did the work on this one. If I recall correctly the show was sold out but somehow he made it in and managed to get this great audio image of the nights performance.
I think is is my favorite era of Modest Mouse. Pretty much all my favorite songs get played. I like the new car commercial era songs too but these ones just speak to me on a different level.

ReplyDeleteI am really excited to hear this thanks for posting it. I like all of Modest Mouse's recorded output, including the newer stuff, but I would have loved to see them before they exploded with popularity. The tracklist looks great, a lot of my favorites.
