Tim Moss founded Men of Porn, aka Porn after he disbanded Ritual Device and moved to San Francisco at the end of the 90s. He is the one constant member but is often accompanied by Dale Crover of the Melvins and Billy Anderson. Luminaries like Toshi Kasai, Billy Gould (FNM), Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), and Balázs Pándi (Merzbow), among many others have all been apart of this on going project at various points.

MOP have releases on Man's Ruin and Small Stone. If you know those labels you can probably take a guess at what they sound like. They get lumped into stoner rock but its not quite that exactly. It gets a bit more avant garde and unconfined. Not unlike the Melvins. They have songs but they aren't afraid to stretch it out.
These are two shows that both happened during the then annual SXSW music festival in Austin Texas in 2005 and 2007. The recordings were made by taper Tracy Murillo who had me transfer a bunch of shows from his minidisc masters recently. He shared them back in the aughts on DIME torrents but these are fresh transfers and not those datasets.
I think the quality on these is pretty nice and if your into this kind of thing a very enjoyable listen.
One note about the 2007 set. Dale says right at the beginning "Are you ready for some BBQ. Are you ready for the BBQ set?" Tracy noted "Men of Porn set up and left the stage to go change. When they came back out they all had some Stubbs B-B-Q and proceed to eat it and start the set".
