Dead Congregation @ Hi Dive, Denver CO, 2023-04-16

 

Long running Greek death metal juggernaut Dead Congregation came though Denver in the Spring of 2023 on a rare US tour.  It was not to be missed.  Following my rule of prioritizing seeing bands that have come from a long way away.  Also on the bill this night was Black Curse, Predatory Light and Many Blessing.  

I love seeing metal at the Hi Dive.  Really happy with how this turned out.  If setlist fm is to be believed Denver got treated to some songs that I didn't see listed in other cities.  Hell of a great show.

I just recent learned that Fishbone is a in the Live Music Archive on Archive.org.  It's also -1 deg. in Denver right now and getting colder.  Fishbone got me thinking about this warmer time back in 2010 at the Denver Day Of Rock.  Nice warm day outside at the start of summer.  Was fine tuned with good friends.  Fun day.
