Here is another set from Desert Fest London. I tried to pick bands to see that I was unfamiliar with and bands that I didn't think I would get a change to see again anytime soon. Årabrot from Norway fit that bill. Årabrot get called noise rock. That is a pretty wide umbrella which I guess they fit under. A this show the main guy Kjetil Nernes said "we play dirty ugly rock n roll".
It's always fun to see a band you have never seen before and are mostly in the dark about blow you away. That was the case on this day. I enjoyed it so much I picked up 2 of their releases on vinyl and am looking forward to their new album at the end of August.
Pretty good sound on this and good setlist spanning their most recent work. We got T-Rex and Lee Hazelwood / Nancy Sinatra covers for good measure. 100% would see this band live again given the chance. Enjoy.
